A few months ago I shared the quaint, white washed villa that Father Rabbit claimed as his suburban Auckland HQ. Well…in the last few weeks some serious changes have taken place, seeing Claudia ZinZan and Nick Hutchinson move the rabbit to a new lofty and modern corner of BLOC in Mt Eden.
With its beginnings as a small but immaculately curated online store, Father Rabbit has grown a cult following for all those valuing practical but beautiful products…something that they have mastered the art of sourcing.
Recently they added a “guest room” to their retail concept with the introduction of a new character; Hello My Tropical Princess Bird Friend” and with some serious design genius, they have managed to bring her and her rainbow range with them to the new open plan store – but without any disruption to their signature serene aesthetic.
